VOTE ON SEPTEMBER 20!
The next four years are crucial to end government waste and inefficiency.

Voting for Panos in the Primary election is essential to SAVE OAHU. Our city faces a looming fiscal crisis -- in highest taxes and a crumbling infrastructure.

Please consider where we are today:

> Violent Crimes increased under the Hannemann administration in 2006 and 2007. According to FBI statistics, Honolulu is above the national average in overall crime rates.

> Hannemann and Kobayashi both supported the highest tax increase in the history of Hawaii.
They both levied massive tax and fee increases that added $1,096 annually for an average family of four. Together, they have mismanaged the city's budget for too many years.

> Fixing potholes does not repair our roads.
Deferred maintenance compounds the cost of fixing our roads, sewers and illegal waste-water discharges. Uncollected toxic trash exposes the public to health and safety hazards.

> Hannemann and Kobayashi support transit-oriented developments.
They expanded the city bureaucracy by adding new divisions and staff in the Planning Department for rail and (Transit Oriented Development) TODs. Eminent domain condemnations will cloud private properties for decades as developments around rail stations are politically controlled.

> Inefficiency rules in City Hall.
Just one small example: More than $1.4 million has been spent on fraudulent radio and tv ads promoting rail. In the past two years, rail's cost has doubled and will be a permanent tax burden.
